NON HAZING POLICY

Gamma Alpha Phi Nu  ΓΑΦN maintains a firm and unwavering stance against hazing in any form. As a non-collegiate organization rooted in sisterhood, mutual respect, and personal growth, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for all members, prospective and initiated.

Hazing is strictly prohibited and includes, but is not limited to, any act—whether physical, mental, emotional, or psychological—that is intended to intimidate, humiliate, degrade, or endanger an individual as a condition of membership, regardless of the person’s willingness to participate.

Examples of prohibited behavior include:

• Forced consumption of food, alcohol, or substances

• Physical or emotional abuse

• Excessive or unreasonable demands on time or energy

• Isolation from friends, family, or support systems

• Any activity that causes embarrassment, ridicule, or harm

All members, regardless of tenure, are expected to uphold this policy and promote a culture of dignity and inclusion. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate review and may lead to disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the organization.
